Q: What is the Tropical Rewards App?
A free mobile app for Android and iPhone that lets guests pay with their phone, earn rewards, order ahead and Skip the Line®! The mobile order-ahead feature will be live in most cafes by Fall 2016.
Q: How do I use the Tropical Rewards App?
  • Download the app from the iTunes or Google Play stores.
  • Enter a credit or debit card (optional) and begin paying with your phone and earning rewards.
    • *Note, if you do not link a payment card to the app, you can scan the QR code on your phone and pay with cash or credit to earn rewards.
  • Receive receipts via email and view your transaction history within the app after each purchase.
Q: What are the reward levels and how do I reach them?
BOOSTED LEVEL – Applies to all users
  • Earn $5 for every $55 spent!
ENERGIZED LEVEL - $500 spent within a year
  • All features of the Boosted Level, plus:
    • One FREE menu item of your choice on your birthday (up to $10 value)
SUPERCHARGED LEVEL - $1000 spent within a year
  • All features of the Boosted & Energized Levels, plus:
    • One FREE supplement per week
    • Exclusive offers and VIP invites
*Reward levels are reset 12 months after level is achieved.
Q: Which cafes accept the App?
The app is nationwide at participating locations. You can view the current list of cafes that accept the app under "locations" in the app menu.
Q: Is paying with the App secure?
Yes! Your credit or debit card is linked to your app account. The fact that you don't need to take your card out of your wallet, is the first level of protection. The second level of protection is data encryption. The Tropical Rewards App is powered by LevelUp, a mobile payment platform that takes security very seriously. Encrypted card information is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault, and at no time is any credit card information stored on LevelUp's servers. This form of payment is more secure than most in-person card based or ecommerce transactions. So if you are comfortable shopping online, you can be more than comfortable paying with the App.
Q: What if I have trouble scanning my App in the cafe or an error message appears?
Most errors are due to credit or debit card expiration. Be sure your linked card has not expired or isn't being rejected for another reason. The speediest way to get an answer for any other issue is to reach out to Level Up support. This can be done within the app in the "Settings" menu. Choose "App Support" and type your question.
Q: How do I place an online order?
Head on over to http://ordernow.tropicalsmoothie.com or click the order button on the bottom menu of your Tropical Rewards App. Enter your zip code to find the locations nearest you that accept online orders. When ordering within the app, you can click "find my location automatically" (be sure you have location services "on"). Online ordering will be live in most cafes by Fall 2016.
Q: Missed out on your Tropical Rewards in cafe?
Please contact LevelUp’s support team to claim those credits within 30 days of your purchase, including catering orders. Email support@thelevelup.com with a picture of your receipt to get started! Note: All loyalty progress requests via in cafe receipts will no longer be accepted following June 1st, 2017 - Catering loyalty requests will still be accepted. Please ensure to download the Tropical Rewards App to receive loyalty points instantly to your mobile phone.
